Deborah J. Meyers, CCIM, has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1985. She currently represents both Landlords and Tenants in the retail, office and industrial categories.
Ms. Meyers has earned the Costar Power Broker Award for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2013. This award recognizes individual commercial brokers for the highest volume of transactions for the year in their market.
In 2004 Ms. Meyers earned the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member), joining the elite ranks of highly skilled commercial and investment real estate experts. To earn the coveted CCIM designation one must: Complete an intense curriculum including six full-time weeks of advanced coursework; submit a detailed portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience; and pass a formidable final exam, which demonstrates proficiency in the CCIM skill sets. Of the more than 150,000 commercial real estate professionals in the United States, only an estimated 6 percent hold the CCIM designation. She is one of only 79 in Massachusetts. CCIM members are responsible for an approximate $400 billion in annual commercial real estate transactions.
Deborah is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She has served on the New England Idea Exchange Program Planning Committee from 2007-2015. During that time she co-chaired and chaired the Programming and Retailer’s Runway committee. This year she is serving as Co-Chair of the entire event.
She has served as Corporator for the Marlborough Savings Bank since 2004.
Her volunteer work includes the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Best Buddies. She is also a registered bone marrow donor on the Be The Match Registry, formerly the National Marrow Donor Program.
Ms. Meyers has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She currently resides in Duxbury, MA.
